75 degrees in the middle of July. I'm amused by the double standard. Many of you will stand atop a building with a megaphone shouting our highs but downplay the low temps in the summer.

At night though, while great, not super impressive. If it happens during the day, you know I'll be the first to post about it!

We ended up with 0.34" of rain last night, pretty good!

I was too late. Woke up this morning and the only thing that kept our little patio canopy from flying away was the strategic corner of the house.

We had some crazy lightning up here in Cottonwood last night too. My nephew made an 8 minute video of it. Awesome!

Rrriiighht, Phoenix has had less than 2" of rain so far this year. We're hardly sucking it up.

Does southern Arizona ever get an ideal rain - a long, slow one?

All I know is I'm tired of cleaning my yard and pool and then a couple hours later they are trashed again. I can deal with the heat and other pitfalls of Phoenix but I hate the dust storms.

Watched the news last night and they said conditions were not right for storms last night so I cleaned the yard and pool. A couple hours later dust and wind galore.

I almost cleaned the yard yesterday morning. But it just felt too humid and I thought a storm might come even though not on the forecast. Glad I skipped it.

The winter/spring rains are like that. Not in the summer though.
