Thats what selective memory is.....even though there is video proof of Bush trying to rein it in and dems saying there wasn't a problem.

I have a question.....how many if they could would vote to return to 2006 compared to the way things are today?

The only measurable metric that is better is the stock market...but those of us in the know understand trillions have been spent proping it up......the main cause of the largest wealth gap in our history....would love to hear any liberal on why they are today silent on that fact....and what happened to the occupy wall street gang.....big money going to and from the big wall street banks is bigger than ever....but yet they too remain silent....why is that?

I don't like what McCain and Flake are trying to do to stop this ... however, I also believe it's foolish to just blame Republicans. The truth is that politicians from both major parties are influenced by the lobbyists and the rank & file members of their parties to get the government more involved in business decisions & people's lives. This is one reason more & more people are registering as Independents or a third party. I also used to be a Republican many years ago, but I switched to Libertarian because I no longer saw the GOP as true to their word of keeping gov't small and spending/taxes low. Instead of just blaming Republicans or just Democrats, let's put the blame where it really belongs: on the two party system, and on the voters who keep electing these people to office!
