I moved here from NY in May and I've noticed a LOT of drivers out here do not use their blinkers for some reason - on the highway and streets. I even had a car in front of me decide to pull over to the side of the road and stop without using their blinker! I find this really bizarre. Is it just me or is this a phenomenon here in the Valley?

I believe it, Steve-o! NY'ers aren't known to have the best driving habits but I didn't notice it back east and I really notice it here.

I use mine even in the middle of the night on an empty road with no one around. It's just habit and feels wrong if I don't do it. Clearly I am the minority. I see just as many Rico Suave wannabe [language] here drifting around between lanes like they're so smooth that it hurts here as I did back home.

Bad driving habits are not isolated to Phoenix and surrounding cities. Bad drivers exist everywhere, in every city, every town.

Unfortunately, Hawkbiz . . .

Nowadays, far too many drivers neglect using their Turn Signal because it interferes with their Cell Phone / Texting, Eating and Goodness knows what else.

Also, are you certain it is more prominent in The Valley?

I doubt very much that it is a problem limited to this area. I'm sure there are other parts of the country that could trigger this same discussion.

True. However, here it seems far more commonplace, unfortunately. Im assuming it stems from the fact that everyone here is from somewhere else, and they bring their notorious bad-driving habits with them? Just my theory.

I travel a lot for work and nowhere else have I seen more people fail to signal than here in the valley. I can't tell you how many times I've been right behind someone that slows down and turns right with no signal. It's rude.

My post wasn't meant to insult ALL of the drivers here by any stretch and it's certainly an unscientific study BUT I've never really been aware of people not using their blinkers until I moved here (and I've driven in many cities in the US). I was just wondering if other people felt this way or if it's just my imagination!
