I'm not crazy about Glendale overall, but I will admit that Arrowhead is probably the best area as far as safety and quality of neighborhoods. Downtown does have a pretty quaint historic look to it, and their Glendale Glitters display every holiday season has been very successful.

I agree.

Downtown Glendale has a special kind of charm and I love Glendale Glitters, it keeps activity going at night and prevents it from being a deadzone at dark.

Some of the neighborhoods near downtown don't seem all that safe though.
