Have lived in Goodyear, San Tan Valley and Maricopa. Have noticed the water quality was best of the three in Goodyear, not so good in San Tan Valley and absolutely horrible in Maricopa. Water softener in all locations, helps some.

What are your experiences in the valley and in your opinion the best water quality in the valley.

Yes I realize this is the desert and water generally sucks. Been here since 1987.

can't shower in a R.O. or with bottled water. Lousy water Absorbed through skin.

Ah good point. I use a potassium-based water softener and then RO for drinking.

Haha, true.
We have a filter installed on the shower head. It helps a good deal with the hard water.

T3 is my favourite. Pricey but worth it.

The notion of absorbing "bad" water through the skin is a myth. Drinking water in this country must meet quality standards (for drinking), so certainly it's safe to bath or shower in it.

I use the showerhead and it makes a big difference in how my skin and hair feel. Recommend!

I don't think it's as much about absorbing. Hard water is just harsh on skin and hair. Your kettle and iron will last longer if you use filtered water, too.
