My wife and I will possibly be moving to the Phoenix area in next 6 months or so. So far we are really looking into Chandler, and Mesa. I myself am 23, my wife is 22. We will be renting a home/condo at 1st, our price limit is around $1,500 per month.

The main question I have is, with our price range, are Chandler and Mesa decent places? We have no children, but will be planning to have one in the next couple years. We enjoy the usual things like eating out, outdoor activities, etc... Any help is appreciated!

Yes, Chandler is a nice city and much of Mesa is nice as well. Gilbert is also a nice place to live.

I think you'll be able to find a nice place in a good neighborhood in most areas of the valley for that price. As many will note--the Phoenix area is geographically huge, so rent near your workplace.
