Default Help W Gilbert.

Hi.CAn any of you please tell me the names of cities that are similar in "feel" to Gilbert.I like Gilbert, but the house prices are a little to high,so If any of you know any similar towns with cheaper home prices I would really appreciate it.Thanks.

I will be in Phoenix in 3 weeks,so I want to narrow down my search.

Also...

I want to be close to a big city, but not in one.

I would check the Chandler area around, maybe bordering the Gilbert area. We have our house for sale right now as well as others in the neighborhood priced $219-$240 for 1,300-1,700 s.f. and we are in the area around McQueen and Frye/Pecos rabout a mile from the new San Tan 202.

Cuteazz1, you didn't state your price range so we can't know what you consider cheaper home prices.

Currently there are 7 homes in Val Vista Lakes, one of the premier communities in Gilbert that range from $245 to $299.

In The Islands, another great community there are 7 homes from 199k to 200k.

And all over the city, in nice areas, there are many more in that price range, and some below.
