Default Master Planned Communities

I'm trying to compile a list of Master Planned Communities so I can begin my hunt, but Google is little help. I couldn't find a list on this forum either. Any additions you can make will be great. Here's what I have so far. I think these are all still selling new homes, and are master planned communties:

Phoenix
Sonoran Foothills
Anthem- Arroyo Grande, Parkside

Peoria
Vistancia
Sonoran Mountain Ranch

Surprise
Marley Park
Surprise Farms
Cortessa

Goodyear
Estrella Mountain Ranch
Palm Valley
Verrado

Mesa
Las Sendas
Mountain Bridge
Octillio
Las Sendas

Gilbert
Power Ranch
Val Vista Lakes

In your Goodyear section:

Verrado is in Buckeye. Add Sundance and Tartesso to Buckeye as well.

Add Canyon Trails to Goodyear.

Estrella Mountain Ranch is now called Estrella.

All of these places have web sites.

In Peoria you can add Westwing and Trilogy/Vistancia. There are several new communities under construction down on Happy Valley Rd, one is by Centex, and it is right next to the new shopping center.

I am in the same boat, I want to recolate by this year. I started by knowing the area were I will be working. Once you narrow that down if you have any kids look into the school ditricts. Then I started looking for builders. Blandford, Pulte, Shea, & Ashtonwoods have very nice commuinites, now narrow down by price range. There is a new community in Mesa called Mountain Bridge by Blandfor, it looks very nice.

Trojan, great thread. I wish we would have had this info (and this website) when we relocated here. I'm sure it would have saved us time finding our "home". We chose Vistancia, and love it. To help you know, not all MPCs are the same with amenities, HOA fees, centrally planned community events and activities, etc, so it's important to compare them. Best wishes!
