Global warming, climate change, whatever you call it, do you think it will destroy our dry weather in the sonoran desert? I read the increase in snow storms is the result of moisture being released as the polar ice melts. I worry it could result in a year round monsoon season with high humidity. I love dry weather so much, do you think we'll be OK here in Phoenix for another 40-50 years maybe?

Is the drinking water supply sufficient for the next 40-50 years? I would think that would be the bigger issue.

For Phoenix, yes, without question.

I'm seeing more extremes in various areas of the country. The northeast very seldomly ever had tornadoes before about 5-6 years ago, then they got 1 or 2 a summer- now they are happening multiple times every summer. Combine that with the extreme cold, the massive amount of snow...I tend to think AZ might start getting hotter. Complete guess work on my part but that's the trend I see happening everywhere else, what they have always had is getting more extreme. Heat would be ours.

Hopefully it would be a dry heat.

Who knows. We had flooding rains a few times last year.

Climate has been changing for a billion years. Not a thing we can do about it.
