Hello Everyone! We will be relocating to AZ in June. We are hoping to purchase in Seville (within one year). We have school age children (4th and Freshman) and we want to rent an apartment near the schools they will attend once we purchase to avoid too much disruption for them. I'm wondering if there are any recommended apartments near Riggs and Basha schools. We'd need three bedrooms with a budget under $1400/month.

Thanks!

I think the closest you're gonna get is around Val Vista North of the 202 near the auto park. I see Santana Ridge rental condos are also leasing in the Ocotillo/Gilbert Rd areas.

Just curious - why not just rent a house? That area doesn't really have a lot of apartments, and the ones that are in the area are higher than your budget (I just talked to a friend last night, a 2BR/1BA in the new complex near the Val Vista/202 area is $1500 a month). You'd probably be able to find a house to rent in your budget vs an apartment.

I'm guessing it'll be difficult, most landlords want 12 month leases

I'd still rent for a year, but I'd rent a house. Three bedroom apartments are not that common, and would stretch the OP's budget where available. If the OP found the right opportunity to buy during the year, the landlord might be willing to work with them. If not, there's nothing wrong with renting for a year to get a good feel for an area.
