We really are. It's 65 degrees right now at almost 1:00 p.m. FABULOUS.

The other thing I love is the sky; in summer, it tends to be a hot-looking blue (not sure how else to describe it) but right now it is a lovely shade of blue with gorgeous clouds.

HS graduation is an important milestone in your life. It is a rare event, indeed, when a graduation gets that kind of rain in Phoenix.
While it's a real shame the graduation festivities had to deal with the rain (although everyone was warned for many days it was coming) and you're right, it IS an important event, I really enjoyed the cool, wet and breezy weather. Windows open, house airing out before summer heat kicks in......
Life is good!

We are simply never satisfied
With the weather that's our lot
If it's cold we moan and groan
And wish that it were hot.
And if it's hot as like as not
We wish that it would rain
Maybe just a good strong wind
Would cool us down again!

Au contraire; you will never hear/see this poster gripe about cool weather!

Nice poem, though!
