We haven't had an 100 degree yet. I'm actually excited to experience it for the first time, though I'm definitely more a cold weather person.

Low 100s can be absolutely pleasant. It's when it gets over 110 that it gets questionable, especially for over a week straight. (I like it but I'm the odd one, I am told )

For those of you who are out of town and still wondering, "Does it get really hot in Phoenix?" or, "Is Phoenix heat like Alabama heat?" - or "Is it possible to survive summer in Phoenix?" - here's a suggestion. Come on down, like right now - that's right, grab a suitcase, book a flight and get down here today, then rent an apartment or go to an extended stay hotel, etc. Stay here for the next four months. By the end of October, you should have answers to most of your questions about summer in Phoenix.

p.s. The fun part has just started! Just wait till monsoon season!!
We just had back-to-back 115 days. It will likely be the last day today to get to 115 this year.

But that 3% humidity sure is nice, as long as you stay out of the direct sun! I think I could hear my skin sizzling, like a steak on a grill. Speaking of which, I'm cooking steaks on my new gas grill tonight, it feels pretty nice out there right now. I love that dry breeze

Yeah it is. It actually fell to 1% yesterday.

Come on folks, 115 ain't that bad.

If it's any consolation, people in Boston have just now dug out from those snowdrifts from last winter.
Heh heh. Frozen "labstah" anyone?

Don't bet your bottom dollar on it. That historic all time record 122 degree day was on June 26 or June 27, back in 1990. And there were a couple of days in July in the mid 1990's when it hit 121. So, it's not over yet.

Have a roasty toasty summer
It's the hottest time of the year
I'm quite sure there won't be snow
But have a keg 'o beer...

There was 1 day in July that hit 121, 28 July 1995. The other high record days 119, 120 & 122 all happened towards the end of June.
