Hello! Looking for any feedback or experience with the Freedom Academy North charter school at Pima and Dynamite? It's a small charter with decent test scores, good Great Schools reviews, and rated 10 on Great Schools (at least on AIMS, individual school AZMerit results not out yet). We are looking for a rigorous academic environment that is well-rounded and still allows time for competitive sports (BASIS and Great Hearts are out for this reason). My kids currently attend BASIS, and one will stay as it's a good fit but not for the other.
Also considering private (Phoenix Country Day), but currently live in North Scottsdale/Cave Creek, so Freedom Academy came up on my radar and obviously would be closer (and cheaper, although that's not really the issue) for us than PCDS.
Thanks in advance for any feedback or experience w/ this school! Or any other suggestions for North Phoenix / Cave Creek / North Scottsdale schools with rigorous academics? Great Hearts is out, it's just not for us
