Smile What time of year is best to visit Phoenix/Arizona ?

What time of year or what times of year are best to visit Phoenix/Arizona in general?

I went in March and found it to be ok, a bit cool up in Flagstaff and the Rim Country when I went on a day trip. Would April or September/October be better???

Thanks

March. You'll be there when the orange blossoms come out, so the whole place smells very fragrant. All the plants should be green, trees should be in bloom. Temperatures should be nice and warm, 70s and 80s, although last year it was in the upper 90s in early March!

If you are going to relocate here then in my logic (I prefer seeing the worst side of something that I will have to live with to see if I can stand it) I'd say July or August. If you are just vacationing then March-April for Phoenix and may be April, May, June for north AZ.

Cool Lol

I can stand it, I was in the Univ of Arizona marching band (the pride of arizona) one semester out at U of A in tucson and we did summer band camp in the heat....about 105*F heat in a marching band uniform, I was a saxaphone in the Pink Floyd Show.... back in 1997 we did the famous diamond formation
was pretty cool
tho HOT practicies, even 90's in the morning practices some days in early fall.

heh..
I was talking more of vacationing. I like the 4 seasons and the Boston area up here also having the ocean is awesome. I love going to hampton beach in the summer here.

Its great.

Or Constitution beach in Orient Heights - East Boston where you can see the airport and watch planes while you swim

nantasket beach in hull too is cool

Cape Ann is pretty nice too

I missed the ocean too much and couldnt take it much longer had to move back home. I also missed our great sports teams out here

That was such a great post. I miss the east coast also. I have less than 6 months left to live here and then I can move closer to home permanently. *sigh*
