Both are most likely to be found in Tempe. Try this list for restaurants:

As silverbear described.

Hint: wherever there is a large East Indian community; the Pakistanis tend to be close by--------both groups tend to work together here in the USA

The community is small in Phoenix and I don't see many halal eateries. However, Phoenix is not a part of the Bible belt nor is it is a conservative Bible city outside the south (ie Denver, Boise, Salt Lake City). So despite the small community, I think you will not find much discrimination or attention being Pakastani and will enjoy living there.

If you are looking for areas where numbers of Pakistani people live, people here really don't congregate based on what country they are from in terms of where they live or work. You might start by contacting Pakistani groups here in the Phoenix area such as the Pakistan Information and Cultural Organization (PICO) - website: http://www.pakistaninformation.org/ which has been very active for a long time.

The cities you mention are not in the South.

The OP asked about particular restaurants, that is all.

The poster you are responding to described those cities as "outside the South". And, the OP asked not just about restaurants, but Pakistani community centers or events. In any event, the OP is long gone, as this thread is many years old.
