I drink mostly craft beer, but there was nothing better than an ice cold Rolling Rock on a hot summer's day after cutting the grass or doing yard work. Something changed the taste of the beer moving it out of Pennsylvania and brewing it next door in New Jersey.

I used to live by the Anheuser Busch plant in NJ. It's on this highway called 1 & 9 in Linden, which has all the oil refineries, power company plants, and industrial areas you can think of. It's also right by the Turnpike where the terrible smell emanates and the city of Newark..... the "best of the best" combined together. Now you know why Budweiser tastes the way it does.

My brother loved the original Rock. After Anheuser bought them he invited me to try the "new" beer because he was pissed they had changed the taste. I swear it was an absolutely disgusting version of Michelob.

This is a family site so I won't say what I think of AB and the swill they produce.

We were there yesterday for our work holiday party. Love the Coconut Joe. I hear they have some great plans to remodel.

Everyone always thinks SanTan for local beer (and I do love their Hefe) but there are many others. Huss Brewing, SunUp, Sonoran, Phoenix Ale just to name a few.
