You Know....
The weirdest thing about that articule is....We are from Salt Lake City, well Sandy, which is more or less like the Chandler of Phoenix, and one of the biggest reasons we are looking at the phoenix weather, is the great climate and that we can get a lot more house in Phoenix than we can in Salt Lake for the money???!?!?! and Salt lake is rated the best?? How does that work?

The Forbes ranking isn't just looking at prices, or places like Armpit Texas would be ranked first. The ranking is based on an area's job growth and the number of houses on the market. They wanted to see overbuilding that should balance out over time, not foreclosures.

That may never happen again here unfortunately in Phoenix. Perhaps some of the suburbs, but not likely. Phoenix has a lot of self correcting to do. 90% of the people who like in Phoenix and the suburbs cannot afford a house at today's prices. It's tough to make a mortgage payment when all you make an hour is 10 bucks.
