The Kyrene district is one of the best around.

I keep trying to tell all the anti-education people that good public schools translate to better neighborhoods and higher home values, this is one reason Chandler is such a desirable suburb.

The Price Corridor is one reason why Chandler is in high demand. https://www.chandleraz.gov/content/E...r-Map_2016.pdf

Probably because OMG INTEL OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG INTEL INTEL INTEL OMG OMG. One apparently assumes everyone in a certain area is a software engineer, and since one house sold to a software engineer for a certain slightly ridiculous price, that means hey, all the rest of your houses around here will be sold to an engineer too so let's charge 25% more for it. The same exact reason prices are heinously out of control back home in Silicon Valley, which we left to avoid. It's happening here too. That, and the school district (like the Cupertino school district back home).

Actually...

Intel along with Wells Fargo, PayPal, Orbital, Microchip, Freescale (NXP), GM's IT Innovation Center, Avnet, Infusionsoft, Rogers, Iridium, Digital Realty, Cyrus One, NextFort...granted Intel is a major employer but NOT the end all of Tech employment in the area.

Very well-written.

Chandler is an employment hub and not just for Intel.

When a particular city has a high presence of companies that seek highly-knowledgeable applicants and offer higher wages, it tends to push up real estate prices.
