I'm new to Phoenix and have been getting bites around my ankles, feet, and legs. The bites seem to occur overnight. I'm curious if any longtime Arizona residents can tell me what might be causing these bites. Thanks for the help!

Rule out fleas. I moved into a rental many years ago as a young lad and trust me, if you were getting bitten by fleas, then you would know it. Fortunately for me, the first night at my new place was spent without any furniture yet and my plan was to sleep on the floor until my things arrived. The place was infested with fleas.....I could see them jumping on me before they bit.

Definitely research bedbugs and deal with the situation asap if your research leads you to believe that is your problem.

We do have mosquitos here. I put spray on whenever I go outside.
