They needed police to come to break a window? What did they do, shoot it out? Some cars have laminated side glass, but you can still break most automotive glass pretty effectively with a sharp, hard object.

Oh wait, in one of the incidents, the dad did the smart thing and called AAA, then when his kid started dying, he called 911.

I didn't read the last line LOL
Avita said the boy's father was waiting for AAA to arrive before he called 911.

I guess he didn't want to break his window.
