Arizonans aren't really known for their feistiness. Maybe Goldwater? But he was before my time.

In my opinion . . .

John McCain wrote the book . . . Two Faced, Pandering, Flip-Flopping Politicians.

He needs to go the way of Russ Feingold. Out of the Senate.

I may not agree on all issues with McCain, but I'm proud that he is speaking up when so many of his fellow Republicans are staying silent.

McCain is one of the few republicans in federal office that I respect.

Agreed, I was a supporter of McCain but I lost respect for him. He is a classic politician who wavers to his benefit. He was against Trump throughout the campaign. Then at the last minute, he caves and endorses him. Now, he is against him again. He saw the reaction to Trump and is jumping on the bandwagon hoping to raise his stock. Classic politician move. He should have had more guts and been like his fellow AZ senator Jeff Flake who never flip flopped and opposed Trump from the beginning.

When Bill Clinton was President, McCain became the "maverick" because he disagreed with his party and rode that to success. Then to win the Republican primary, he positions himself as a "conservative Republican" Anyone who knows McCain personally will tell you he is not socially conservative at all. He is actually a very nice, tolerant and open-minded person; he is about the furthest thing from being a conservative Republican.

The politician I do support and endorse is Jeff Flake. Flake is consistent. I think he is a good person and will disagree with his party for the right cause. Flake has never wavered and has been a vocal opponent of Trump's stance on immigration. He believes in taking a common sense approach and having a guest worker program which makes much more sense, is much cheaper to implement, and allows us to tax immigrants and account for them.
