Default A lot of Buckeyes on this board!

There seems to be a lot of Ohioans on this board that are moving out here to Arizona! (And I'm one of them) Anyways, what part of Ohio are you from? I'm from the Columbus area and have lived out here for almost 10 years!

I don't live in AZ but I vacationed there in 2006. MY friend & I went to Fox Sports Grille in Scottsdale to watch the Ohio State - NIU game. Anyway, the Buckeyes were very well represented! It seemed like about half the restaurant was Buckeye fans.

Go Bucks!

HA! It's been great for the past few years when the Buckeyes have been playing out here for the Fiesta Bowl or National Championship. I almost felt like I was *home* for awhile. There are tons of people from Ohio out here and I love it!!

Depressing and gloomy NE Ohio. Atleast Columbus had a little bit of something to offer! We are just waiting for our house to sell, and in this market, it could be a long while We are so excited about making the move out west, I just want it to be sooner rather than later. We spent a weekend out there house hunting a couple weeks ago, which was a lot of fun. We'll be back out later on this month with the kids, maybe not so much fun ...as in 3 kids, 15,11,10 in the back of a rental car driving around town. Wish us luck

I have a couple of friends up in that neck of the woods! Ughh, that weather is so depressing back there. My sis still lives in Columbus and she hates the weather back there. I remember those days!!

Well, good luck to you. Just think it could be 110 degrees driving around with 3 kids in a rental car! You're coming at a great time! Good luck!

I bet Houston is a lot different than Phoenix. They have all that humidity and stuff. That's what bothers me about the Midwest. But I don't think Houston would be too bad.

Houston is far hotter and far more humid than the midwest, and they dont get breaks from it either.

Right in the center of it all. Co(w)lumbus..

I have always had a thing for Arizona.
The Grand Canyon and the desert look.
I want to leave ol Cowtown because of the winters, just tired of them.
Matter o fact I am in the process of figuring out how to get it together and get out there.

Guess so. I've noticed this Ohio-themed house in my new neighborhood before, but a few days ago the garage happened to be open when I drove by and I saw life-size players on the wall...
