Default Drive from Buckeye to Long Beach - Estimated drive time?

Hi All - I'm driving to Long Beach, CA on Monday morning, early, to catch a cruise that's leaving port. If anybody has taken this drive, how long do you anticipate the drive will take? I dont' speed - probably 77mph at most. I'm allocating 6 hrs if I don't get lost and light traffic. Is that enough? Too much? Thanks a bunch!

Default LONG BEACH drive

6 hours should do it...

it will depend on what time of day you enter the LA basin-area...

the freeways in LA can get backed up... RUSH HOUR!

Speaking of traffic, how does the Phoenix area compare to L.A?

I don't think Phoenix is as bad, comparatively speaking.

With that said, I think LA traffic is organized and Phoenix is more of a "mess", if that makes any sense.

I sure wouldn't want to miss the boat...I'd allow at least 7. I've seen the freeways backed up for miles due to an accident or construction.

well, i'm leaving around 5am and i think the latest check in time was 3 or 4. ship sales @5pm

that is plenty of time, HOPEFULLY!! i was also thinking about driving in the day before but i don't feel like paying for another expense!

yeah, la traffic is pretty unpredictable!
