I'd say the majority of the forums of major US cities tend to be fairly negative but there's a logical reason. When people aren't happy with an area, a product, a car, etc etc they like to tell EVERYONE ELSE about their dissatisfaction with whatever. If you get a comment card from say...a restaurant; what are the chances you fill it out when you were very satisfied with everything? Probably mediocre to poor for the majority of Americans. Now what if you were quite dissatisfied with the service/meal/cleanliness etc etc; what are the chances that you NOW fill it out? Probably pretty good. See my drift?
I'd say yes, the majority of people who live in Phoenix like it here otherwise we wouldn't have a population over 4 million and be one of the fastest growing US metros. Phoenix has a growing economy (many high-paying jobs coming to the area), affordable real estate market compared with many other US cities, favorable climate 75% of the year, NO SNOW

or below 0 temps, beautiful scenery, close drive to San Diego/L.A./Vegas, and many, MANY more great amenities that Phoenix offers.
