SRP or APS??
Anyone here work for either of these power companies? Im looking to possibly make a move to the Phoenix area( I have family in Glendale) and I am a lineman looking to get a vibe for these companies. Any info greatly appreciated.

Here in Pinal County , aps raised their rates 30 percent. Srp has always been cheaper.

Daetz nize but it doesn't mean they would pay better to their employees.
I do agree though, APS is rip off and depending on where you live, you don't have a choice (isn't this Monopoly?).

I know people that work for both companies. If you can get in, you'll stay. They both provide good benefits, and electicity is a commodity that we'll always need.

hey borat i'm a lineman looking to relocate to srp from ct. Im tired of paying 6,000 a year in property taxes for 1600 square feet!.
Any ideas anyone. Taxes,schools,neighborhoods...?

You will be pleasantly surprised with property taxes in the Phoenix area. For the home size you mentioned, you will pay approx. $1500/yr or 1/4 of what you pay in CT.

Turco, it's only a "Monopoly" if you own both the electric company and water works.

Well I have had both APS and SRP. I had smaller bills and less outages with SRP
