I wasn't being serious about being afraid to drive, but i am certainly not going to declare open target practice on anyone!

If one looks at all the wrong way driver accidents one thing stands out as the best defense. Generally these happen after dark, usually after midnight so if one wanted to increase one's odds of not being hit one should never drive in the HOV or fast lane after dark as these lanes are where the majority of accidents have happened.
Just a thought towards defensive driving and self preservation...

You've been watching too many action movies, the idea that you're going to have time to pull out a weapon, aim, and actually hit someone or a part of the car to stop it is pure Hollywood influence. It doesn't work that way. Your best bet is to get off to the side of the road if you've got a chance to do so.

She had 10 shots of vodka in her and pot.

Is it worse since the light-rail? I remember visiting after the light rail installation and feeling like it was poorly mapped out.

No. First, poorly mapped out, how? It's a single line.

Second, it only runs along surface streets, so it's not really possible for it to affect freeway wrong way drivers.
