Mountain view or pool view?

I agree, the August rates seem very reasonable.

We did mountain view and had a suite WAY up the hill. (thankfully they have call buttons for a golf cart to come get you if you like!) The balcony faced north and the view was very nice.

Hotel Valley Ho has nice offerings. Walk three blocks and you're in Old Town Scottsdale. They have a party pool and a quieter one both on the property.

This sounds pretty good! I want to stay at a resort and go to a winery, love wine! I am still researching. Thanks

The view doesn't matter, it will be a spring staycation!

Sounds like you should be looking at Sonoita/Elgin/Willcox or head up to Cornville/Jerome/Cottonwood. We have tasting rooms in the Valley (very few) but no "wineries" in the Sonoma/Napa sense of the word.

In the spring be prepared to pay top dollar. Our suite last year was about $100 a night. In March the same room can go for triple that
