Ok I'm in the midst of saving up for an out of state move to Arizona, I really want to move to Mesa Superstition Springs BLVD area I like that area. I'm thinking about saving up between $10k or $12k but it can be tricky because I don't know much about the job market even though I've heard some good things about the job market in AZ overall. As for what I'm looking for I would say pretty much Retail (Cashier Positions), even drug stores as (Cashier). But my question is how much do you think I should save up for an Arizona move in particular Mesa?

I would say at least 9 months living expenses would be a good start.

10k should be good pending you don't use any of it to move. You mentioned the Superstition Springs area, when was the last time you were out there?

Great! Are you moving just for a change of pace? It also usually helps if you have family or friends in the area in the event of emergencies.

You might want to check with apartment rental agencies now to find out their requirements given you won't have a job when you arrive.

My guess is because you will unemployed when you arrive much will depend on your credit history and the amount you're willing to put down as a deposit.

Best of luck. I started over three times in my life.
