Currently in NJ it takes me less than 10 minutes to get coffee and get to work, Can you help me to pick an area to live? I am looking for a 2-3 bedroom place under $1000. Want to be in a safe area. I was told this is doable in Chandler. Point me in the right direction please! My boyfriend and I will not be visiting before the move so I am relaying on the kindness of others. Thanks in advance.

In 85286 are two at $1050 on the MLS.
In 85248 there are two at $985. One is in a gated community.
In 85249 there are 4 just under $1000, and 2 at $1000.
The two in 85286 are within 10 minutes from work going against traffic.
The two in 85248 are within about 15 minutes going against traffic on the 202.
The ones in 85249 will be within about 15 minutes.
I'm familiar with all the Chandler area and these are all in good areas.
The way to find a rental is to get
one real estate agent to find one for you. It will be painless. He or she can preview these places and send you the mls sheets and take photos of them because many of the rentals don't show photos. Then s/he can make the arrangements with the rental agent to get the application to you.
Last month I found a temporary rental for a relocating client of mine, and he was driving in from another state. He had only seen photos of the home. When he arrived at 10pm the rental agent was out of town so I went over to get him the key out of the lock box.
The landlords will require a credit check for all parties over 18 living in the home.
Please only use one realtor for this. The realtors only get paid from $150 to around $200 for a rental, and they do it primarily as a service to you, so that if you like their service, you may use them when you buy a home, or refer them to your friends. If you use more than one realtor, as others have done, then you waste the time of all but the one who gets you the property.
