Can anybody provide me with a review crime and school wise on the Riverbend neighborhood of South Phoenix area? Looking at a rental in that area and I can't find much info.

That's a pretty nasty part of town. It's across from a landfill, bordered on the North by trucking/shipping and industrial use, a couple miles from the major jail. I wouldn't consider this area for a second.

There is a FedEx hub to the North. I had no idea about a landfill? What jail is in that area? Thank you for the info!

Is that the Perryville women's prison in Goodyear? Where Jody Arias is incarcerated? We heard about that. Never saw the prison, though.

Landfill is directly across 51st Ave, the jail is about 2 miles NE (Durango Jail), about 2 miles SE on Broadway is the junkyard corridor and about 1.5 miles North is the tank farms where all of the fuel trucks fill up. I would personally look about 4-5 miles West of here if I wanted to be in the area.
