I highly doubt that.

I do too, Sacramento has around the same cost of living as the better neighborhoods here in the valley

Thank you for all of your input.
I believe it is the tip of the iceberg now.
We are going to have a bunch more moving here. Hopefully Repubs.
Now we just have to find away to keep out “Dodger Fan”.

I pay close to $2k for a one bedroom, my rent has gone up about $200 a month the last few years, plus about $65 a month for water, sewer, trash collection. Doesn’t include my own gas and electric bill. It’s tough on fixed income. I’ve lived in SD 40 years but will need to leave because can’t really justify the COL anymore. Looking into PHX area, Texas and NC.

Not at all for me, AZ has the same "live and let live" vibe and mentality in my opinion. Of course, it is some substantial differences but nothing to really culture shock many that moved from so cal

Honestly, we need all types here, not all Repubs, not all Dems and not all Independents. I think a good balance is healthy.

Haven't really noticed one. Except there's a lot less wanting to be flashy. Everything's at a slower pace, less hustling.
