Follow some of the links on the site. It is all a joke. Maybe it's gathering our bank account number while we are clicking away.

On the original topic of beat/nature of crime, consider that some areas of the city, at least in terms of police precinct districting, are far smaller than the others. Also consider that in the more affluent neighborhoods, people tend to call and report minor crimes to police far more frequently than do residents of the rougher areas of town.

It is a very safe bet to say that Metrocenter mall ranks very high on the top 5 list of locations for stolen vehicles. A close runner up would be the area of 35a/W Buckeye Road.

The area bordered by 7th Ave/Roosevelt southwest to 35Ave/Buckeye is going to have a large number of sex offenders and drug crimes, because that area houses Phoenix's many homeless shelters.

Likewise, if you are looking at the police 'beat' map, the 425 beat (south phoenix/laveen) area will be very high for property crime/burglaries.

The area of 23Ave/Thomas south west to 51A/Van Buren will be very high in terms of hit/run accidents...

The best areas can easily be generalized by taking a drive through the neighborhood, looking at the upkeep of houses, as well as average property values... just as in any other city.

Moderator cut: orphaned post
This is a bogus web site and should not have been posted. It does give a false representation of the neighborhoods. Where did this come from?

We already have come to that conclusion as well and I even apologized for it but I guess it wasn't enough or you didn't even bothered to read the other posts?
