Default 22 yo, Moving to Queen Creek - What is there to do?

Hey, I just graduated form college and was looking to move to PHX from MIA. I found a job in Queen Creek, which I accepted, and I will be moving out there in a few weeks.

From the research I have done, it seems that QC is really catered to families. And when I went out there to visit EVERYTHING was is development mode, I mean, there were construction sites on every corner and not a bar or social area in sight.

What will a 22 year old single male do for fun in QC? I know it is a family community, but is there a good single female population there?

Thanks

Wow you found a job in Queen Creek? That is not an easy task. I'm sure you can find a little pub here and there but you will have to travel for some singles and nightlife.

Welcome to AZ.

Congrats on finding a job in Queen Creek. There is a large single female population if you are into horses. Not so much if you're into women.

Just kidding. Kind of. Okay, so, in all seriousness, for social life you'll want to travel east into the Chandler & Loop 101 area. I can't imagine it's too bad of a drive.

QC does not cater to singles. It's a bedroom community for families mostly who are looking for affordable housing.

You'll most likely be driving to PHX, Tempe and Scottsdale for nightlife.

Take turns.

The only bar I'm aware of in Queen Creek is a Native New Yorker (a local bar/ wings chain) on Power & Chandler Heights.

I live in queen creek too, still not much to do there lol. I did manage to find a place called uncle bear in power marketplace. Very nice place, the bar is cool and noticed a few young people there. I heard of a place called San tan flats that supposed to be really nice. I would start on power rd and keep going up. there are a lot of things coming to this area, but we just have to wait
