I am moving to Surprise/waddell as well early next spring. I am currently living on the east coast, Maryland to be exact. I am originally from San Diego and just never got used to the eastern coast. My husband will retire from the military and we have 3 young children. I hear the new elementary school in waddell is great. I am really looking forward to the move. I was also looking to rent in the Cortessa development. I would like to know when the new mall will be built. Would anyone know? Does anyone have any tips for a young outgoing family of five?

Much of the larger commercial construction has been halted due to the credit crisis. When the country starts to move forward again, I am sure you will see stores going vertical. Soon I pray.

It will be a nice mall, whenever it eventually happens. At least the signs are up saying it is coming soon. Construction on the Loop 303 freeway should start before long, too. If I remember correctly, Phase 1 was supposed to begin in 2009.
