Just saw this on social media this morning. Kind of sad to see it going, would have liked to check out a show for the first time before closing.

Times are changing I believe and money is a big part of it, not just in AZ but all across the country. Local culture, family events and uniqueness are being slowly erased from society and we're becoming sterile corporate stooges. Cowboy western culture needs to be preserved, not be completely removed. Anybody else gone in the past and have fond memories?

Mixed reviews and mediocre management could be a part of its demise but not completely.

It's just a failed business, not some commentary on whatever narrative you're trying to push. There are plenty of unique and family-friendly business that continue to thrive.

Singh Farms, The Musical Instrument Museum, Rustler's Rooste, The Farm at South Mountain, Queen Creek Olive Mill, Joe's Farm Grill, Goldfield Ghost Town, and Tortilla Flat are some examples that immediately come to mind.

You may want to explore PHX and the surrounding areas a bit more before jumping to such conclusions.

I've been to Goldfield Ghost Town in Apache Junction a few years ago, heard of Rustler's Rooste but haven't had the time to visit. It's not a close trip for me to visit PHX when it takes almost two hours to just drive down there and cost of gas. I try to make a trip down there at least once a month. Not jumping to conclusions, just expressing an observation. Am I not allowed to do that now?

You can express all the observations you want. Just as I can express mine, that trying to connect a poorly rated business's closure to some changing culture narrative is weird and off-base.

Yeah, I drove through Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree this week and noticed that EVERY TRACE of cowboy culture had been removed.

You really need to get out more.

Well I have been to Rockin R. It was not "cowboy culture". More like snowbird tourist kitsch. But anyway.
