The AZ Department of Gaming publishes a list of OTB locations. It looks like there are none in Gilbert, but a few in Chandler and Mesa.

That place at 20h St., and Camelback is a decent place to bet...the Canadian owners show very poor etiquette by displaying the maple flag without displaying a US Flag. A good way to get arrested or worse in many parts of the world. And watch the bill padding at the bar. The important thing is that you will be in the parimutuel pool, in the event you hit a big Longshot and will not be limited to 375 to 1 on exactas or whatever....

American legion post#1 has otb. It's downtown on 7th ave just north of Van Buren. It's my post and I hang out there all the time. You don't have to be a member to go to the otb.

The owners bill padding habits (stealing) are infinitely worse than flying a solo maple leaf flag. Those arcane flag flying "rules" will upset a very few people. All to often, the symbol of our freedom is elevated over our nations principle of freedom. Personally, I wouldn't think think twice if I saw a solo Canadian flag in Phoenix. Well, other than thinking that a Canadian owns the establishment. Just my 2 cents.
