We have Dominick's stores out here which are Safeway owned stores. I have a Dominick's card and we save .10 a gallon for every $50.00 purchase. Do you know if the Dominick's card would work on Safeway gas stations?

I do not know the answer to that. I would suggest you call the phone # on your card or contact a Safeway store for the answer.
That would be great if you could use the card. Since they are associated, it may be that you can use the card at Safeway.

You should be able to use your Dominick's card at Safeway. I use my Vons card all the time when shopping at Safeway and have never had a problem.

Safeway owns Vons although it used to be the other way round.

Von's never owned Safeway. Von's was an independent, Safeway bought them, then Safeway sold them, then Safeway bought them back again.

Safeway has to be the most overpriced grocery store in the country. Whatever discount they're giving on gas, they more than make up in their overpriced groceries. There was an article in the Wash. Post about three years ago on a guy who was making $60k there and bagged groceries. 25 yrs. working there and he wasn't even a manager. Sorry, I don't choose to contribute to such inefficient and union-run businesses.
