Get a copy of SCW Deed restrictions from (www.porascw.org) PORA - Sun City West, Arizona.
Additional rules may apply to condo owners. Condo associations will know your ages etc if your name is listed as a co owner on the deed. You could own it /sell it or rent it out till you meet age restrictions. One of the basic reasons is so SCW residents will not have an obligation to pay school taxes. We pay taxes for our near-by two year college. lal667

There is no problem with you owning the property. There is no limitation on ownership.

However, occupancy (living there) may be a different issue - at least one person must be 55 or over to occupy .

As for the CC&R's of Sun City West: They are a matter of public record. I might suggest that you can contact a Title Company, give them the information on your Uncles home (address, name). They can get you the CC&R's

You haven't designated this as a joke in any way shape or form so I must surmise that you mean this statement. In consideration of that fact I must comment on your blatant insensitivity. Would you also use the terms an old coot or old geezer, or FOP, or maybe you might find the simple term senior citizen acceptable? I find your term offensive and derogatory and yes, you have a right to "free speech", but common decency dictates, not at the expense of innocent others. My mother in law is 88 and yes, she is old, but she is a source of eloquence, knowledge, experience, history, ethics, manners, advice, wisdom, etc., etc., etc. Maybe you don't have an older person in your life that means something to you and therefore you can throw the phrase "old broad" around, and that is sad. Go to a nursing home or something and visit some of the residents and maybe you will get a better perspective of how valuable an older person can be in your life.

No, I'm just from an older generation that had more respect and manners. That is the problem with people in these desensitized modern times, nobody finds much of anything offensive anymore.

Broad is slang, it's not derogatory in any way. It was originally used as a compliment.
