Retiring in the midwest means putting up with humidity, tornados, a lot more rain, and winter blizzards.

I'm not a retiree but moved out here from the northeast 5 years ago. The summer heat doesn't prevent me from doing anything, including jogging (except I go earlier in the am) and I love how sunny the weather is almost all the time. I'd get bummed out in the winter back east and the weather did prevent me from doing many outdoor activities. I love it out here.

I like extreme weather we get monsoons here always go out driving around in got some great footage in 2014 flooding would love to see a tornado from safe distance.
