I would rent or buy in Buckeye. I work in Phoenix and it is WORST than Chicago Traffice. I live for work @ 5am and it is crowded already. I would definitely live closer to buckeye - goodyear, avondale, litchfield park,

I agree that if working in Buckeye, get a home in Buckeye, Goodyear, Avondale, or Litchfield Park. Best wishes!

Default Buckeye-Tartesso

I have lived in Buckeye in the community Tartesso for a year now and still love-n it. Me and my wife lived on 75th and 101 for awhile and although you can't bet that kind of convince there’s no way I'd go back. I drive to work at Luke AFB in Glendale and very rarely see traffic. So a 30 mile drive is only about 35 minutes. *Note* Average travel time in the valley to work in 24 minutes. From Tartesso to about Litchfield Rd. is clear about 100% of the time. Although now there is the I-10 widening construction I have yet to see a delay of more that 5 minutes. Of course once it's finished I think you will not see traffic in that area for some time.

Look if your intentions are to teach, then please come and help the problem that the city faces. The school district is short on teachers which can only add to the problems that people here are posting. As far as placing your children in the district yes they may have some difficulty. But that will help motivate you as a teacher to effect change. We could use you here. Good luck on your inteview.

wow, this thread is old. UPDATE: I am teaching in a district that I like so far. However, my own children are in a different school district.
