I got bit a dozen times in the space of about an hour!

So the question is what to do if they're inside and you can't see/hear them?

Mosquito's are not attracted to light of any kind. Bug zappers do not attract them. I fell for this marketing gimmick years ago until I actually researched the science behind it. If they do kill a mosquito it's because they just randomly wandered into them.

All you can do is spray yourself with Off and swat em away. Find their source of water where they lay their eggs and eliminate it. Not much else you can do. Tempe does spray, and I wish Scottsdale would do the same.

How about getting someone out to spray for mosquitoes? Anybody done that? What did it cost?

Phoenix is #11 and the first Florida city listed is Miami at #14? That really surprises me. I thought Phoenix was mostly a hot, dry and arid climate, a city in the desert. I always associated mosquitoes with hot, humid locations.
