Default Help, where should I move?

I am a 25 year old male who works in the banking industry, and I have been offered a job in Phoenix and Minneapolis. I am originally from Wyoming and I am torn between the two cities. I want to move someplace where I can meet lots of nice people and have a good time. I am currently single and Like to have a few drinks on the weekend, so i'd like to be in a place with some night life and meet some interesting people. I love to hike and be outdoors, so I am leaning towards Phoenix. The job is the same in both cities so it comes down to what city is the best. Anybody from these two cities and any input would be appreciated! Thanks

Tough choices, Petey

If weather is important . . . Phoenix wins over Minneapolis.

If cost of living is important . . . Phoenix wins again.

Personally, I would prefer to endure a couple of "ugh" months during the summer in Phoenix over about five or six months of miserable cold plus hot and humid summers in Minneapolis.

MY TWO CENTS WORTH

Minneapolis will have more room for advancement, but Phoenix is a great place for a single guy (many pretty women here.)

If you like snow sports, don't. If you like the beach, don't. But I'd say, depending on where you are in your career, if you are just starting out - Phoenix is a great choice.

My husband LOVES Minneapolis. He used to live there, and he would move back in a heartbeat. It's a really vibrant city, tons of young outdoorsy people, etc. He still has friends there and they would never leave.

That said, I told him there was no way I was ever moving to MN! I just would not enjoy the winter--I would not even find them bearable. I love the heat, so I'd personally choose AZ (although to the "pretty girl" comment, I saw many more higher maintenance women in AZ than anywhere I've ever lived. Plastic boobs, women in their 30s talking openly at the playground about their Botox treatments, etc.)

The weathers are so extreme, that could make the difference. For the general vibe, I'd prefer MN but as I said, I'd never choose MN b/c of the weather. I would much rather be in Phoenix.
