We just arrived from VA and while we are currently in a RV we are looking for rentals in the Buckeye, AZ area.
Searching Craigslist we found Nothing but, mostly RediRentals, companies that want a $60 payment to guarantee you that they will find you a rental. We want a house and all we receive are Apts., Townhomes that are also apts. and More apts. The person that you speak with does not live in the area and knows nothing about the area. A search from this company sends you to another company and another phone call who Then transfers you to another phone number.
ALL rental searches yield some of the same type of results. Is there no way to find a home to rent via the Home Owner? It appears that in AZ today one HAS to pay middle man after middleman fees and then the Application Fees????

A quick Google search brought up Zillow with 114 homes for rent and rent.com with hundreds of homes for rent in Buckeye. Trulia lists 132 Buckeye homes for rent.

I didn't look at every listing but there seems to be lots of availability with my quick search. Most homeowners use Property Management companies to manage the rental for them.

Like LBTRS said, use Zillow and Realtor.com. You might also try padmapper.com, although padmapper may lean more towards apartments than houses. Also check out renterswarehouse.com. And try the old fashioned way - drive thru the neighborhoods you're interested in and see if there are any for rent signs out. Many private, smaller landlords with properties in popular areas still rely on just a "for rent" sign.
