Twiggy has an announcement
I just wanted to let the people who knew me on here and my situation that my father, the Professor of "Phoenix" history, (urban southwest) at ASU just passed away last week. He wrote some great books about this city! I appreciate all of you who helped me through this difficult time with your kind words. It was an experience I will treasure. He had Alzheimer's for those of you who don't know. He stayed with me for the past 5 years. I learned a lot from him growing up. Although I do a lot of screaming on here about crime and pollution, etc...... I am thankful for what Phoenix has done for my father and my family. I am also so thankful for all of your support. To those of you who are new, this is a great thread! We may be a little feisty on here, but we still make great friends. Even after a drag out fight about Scorpions. lol
Thanks again everyone, look out, Im back. he he

Thank you all. I took a little break when things got hard at the end. I would love to do lunch with you Sheena. I can finally leave the house. lol Did we ever have that "Phoenix forum party"? Maybe we could do it up this year.
I see we have some young wipper snappers on the thread now. he he
It was so useful on here when I was locked up with grandpa and 3 kids. lol
I could speak something other than "Barney" language.
Thanks again all you guys!

Yes, I have been known to be quite the pistol. lol My poor husband.
I think this experience has given me a softer side. Maybe it will pass but for now I am just so grateful for everyday. I love everyone.
I know which one of you guys are laughing. ha ha I have a new outlook on all of this stuff. But don't think Im not going to get my butt back to Cape Cod for a year long vacation. Im planning to sell my house next year (if possible) and take grandma and all the kids across this great country of ours in an RV. Stop at all the cool places along the way until we end up in Cape Cod MA. There I will stay for a year and visit all thats around New England and of course New York City!!! My dad was born in Fitchburg and went to the cape all the time until he moved there when his grandpa (who owned the pub in Borne) kicked off and left his house to my grandma. So, I went back there every summer, and loved it!!!! He of course wanted his ashes spread in the bay out there by their old house. Yeah, an excuse to go back to the beach and pig out in memory of my dad on some big labbsstaaaa. yummmm. Then, after I freeze my (you know what off) I will be back to buy up on some of that outlying cheap real estate in Holly-zonie. They all want to come out here you know. Crazy bastards. he he I probably will know why after being there a year. I should stop, Im sure your sick of my babble.
But yeah, right now "I love you guys"
Now you can't say anything bad to me today. lol
ps. my gloves are lying right next to me, so be careful.
