Article from Phoenix Business Journal. Pretty much the expected areas, though I had no idea 85045 and 85048 in South Phoenix would be as high, and especially 85045 at #2. Also 85383 and 85083 really moving up the ranks. We really really need some better restaurants and retail options up here, the income is certainly there.

It's not really "South Phoenix", they call it "Ahwatukee"

Yeah, South Phoenix would be south of downtown and north of the mountains.

The Ahwatukee zip as #2 is surprising. I’m also really surprised the Carefree zip is 22. Would have that would have been close to top 5.

The stuff in that zip south of Indian School I'm sure brings it down.

Not surprised that the Ahwatukee Zip is so high on there. That one is exclusively newer housing stock (past 15 years) and some new custom stuff in there also that brings the average way up. Those houses on the mountain aren't cheap!

85018 is a surprising omission. Sure "Arcadia Lite" likely brings it down but you'd think there would be more than enough affluence in Arcadia proper and up Camelback to compensate.

Are we sure 85045 is Ahwatukee? Most of that zip code looks to be west of 19th Ave or do? 85048 is Ahwatukee I believe?
