Default Question about where to live in Phoenix

Hi all,

I am new to Phoenix. I am renting the apartment right now. I am going to buy the house in Gilbert. I have looked at a couple communities. I am wondering if Power Ranch (between Germann and Power road)is a nice neighborhood and if it is far from everything, for example grocery stores, shopping centres, post office etc. Since I am self-employed, I work at home. Therefore, I don't need to travel to Phoenix too often.

It would be very appreciated if somebody can give me ideas.

Thumbs up good choice!

That sounds like a good choice especially in that you work from home, no commuting to work is a big advantage and I would warn anyone who is moving to the metro Phoenix are to avoid long commuting to and from work each day.

Power Ranch is a great location. I don’t know about the schools in that area or even if you need them at this time but that would be the only consideration that might cause you to look at another area.
