It's high time to take most of the coins out of circulation, too. It's not like they can buy anything... Not worth the metal they're made of.

How would you get change though? If you buy something with a five dollar bill that's only $3.50, there would be no way to give you change in bills alone.

Me neither, I mostly use my check card. Cash will always be needed though, you never know when our bank computers might go haywire.

Oh, you're absolutely correct, albeit perhaps not exactly because of the computers going haywire... Last year I had withdrawn a large amount of cash, but it got spent. You reminded me I probably should do it again.

Here is the scary news. I read a statistic that said the people of the US are spending 244 million dollars per day more for gas now than one year ago....

Well there's 300 million people so that's less than $1 per person. Of course that 300 million includes babies and children, but even if half are adults that's only $2 per day per adult. It's not a very surprising statistic when put in those terms.
