If I'm starting a thread about a particular topic found in the News, I generally put the news item headline in, then a sentence or two from the article and the link (as required by copyright laws)

I will, as I did with this thread, put personal comments in - sometimes I don't

For several hours on Tuesday, a part of Arizona's recession-plagued economy was plunged into a vat of hot oil.

Amid fanfare, hundreds of customers waited patiently on a cool, cloudy morning for the return of iconic, glazed doughnuts that hadn't rolled off an east Mesa assembly line for more than 20 months.

The highly touted re-entry of the state's only Krispy Kreme store was sweet, a virtual madhouse at times and a test of patience, said patrons and the owner of the outlet.
Krispy Kremes are BESTEST when eaten HOT right out of the grease. Once they have cooled they're just another glob of sugar and fat.

Hey, let's all play nice now. Adding in a little jab just because you don't like the subject is a little immature, don't you think? We all have our values and they don't always match.

When it comes to yummy greasy dough, I support even the stands at the rez! Happy?

I'd much rather get some fry bread on the side of the road than KK.

I agree, and I find that to be true with all donuts. When they're hot, they're hot, but cooled down, what a gooey mess.

I notice the OP says that Krispy Kremes is back in the valley. So it was there before right? I'm almost certain I remember seeing at least one location when I lived in Phoenix some years back. If so what happened to it?
