Default moving to Chandler...

I'm moving to Chandler to work at Intel (Ocotillo site) this July. I've found a lot of info online about big apartment complexes and new developments that are close to Intel. Can anyone recommend a cozy neighborhood, possibly older with some character but still nice? I would really like to keep a short, easy commute from work. Thanks in advance!

I'm actually renting a townhouse close to the Intel plant (about 7 miles away). It is in a very nice and quiet community. The community has homes, townhouses, and condos in it, built between 1980 to 2006. Ours was built in 1996 and has updated features to it. It would give you a reverse commute to Intel, which is good because the traffic can get pretty bad. Give me a call and we can discuss further: 480-287-2109. Thanks

I don't work for them but they are nice apartments. All of them have their own fenced patio and no one lives above you. Nice quiet neighborhood and a security guy at night. I wish their living rooms were bigger though.

I am in Ocotillo and drive past Intel more times a day than I really care to count. The only traffic on Dobson seems to be maybe when shifts change? Don't know - just guessing. There is Cornerstone Ranch apts. directly on the other side of the light of the intel entrance. You literally could walk to work. Good luck. It's in a great area!

I have only been here since November but, I would say it is safe in that area. My brother lives right over in that same spot. I got over there often and have never seen anything/anybody that looked dangerous.

My bike got snatched from those apartments, right off my front patio too

But for the most part, it is a safe and quiet area.
