Default Attn Silverbear...have you tried Romanian food?

I know you're huge on Valley restaurants and even keep a blog with reviews (right?) so I thought I'd suggest this Romanian restaurant to you and see what you think...

Europa Palace
15820 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix
602-548-3337

They did a review of it on AZCentral.com, which is somewhat comical, but it did get 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Europa Palace, 3.5 stars

I was just there last night and it was pretty decent...try the Ciorba de Burta or Ciorba de Perisoare (both soups, first is made out of pig intestines - sounds unappealing but its good, the second is a meatball soup...both are traditional Romanian "ciorbe" which means "sour soup"). The "mici" are also a Romanian traditional, although I found that they made them a bit too big...they sound be about 1/2 the size that they serve them.

Hi, thanks for the tip. I will have to try this sometime when I'm up visiting my in-laws in that part of town. It sounds interesting and I have never tried Romanian food.
